Installation

As a commercial property owner, ensuring the safety of your investment is paramount. Pyrotex Systems provides you with an array of fire alarms to alert you in case of a fire outbreak. The fire alarms are fitted with the latest technology and can detect smoke, fire and carbon monoxide and alert you of the impending danger in your premise. As a result, you can take precautionary measures.

The types of fire alarm systems available at Pyrotex Systems include:

Conventional Fire Alarm System

In this system, the parts are held together on a cable that connects them to a control panel. When there is a threat, these parts send signals to the control panel, which displays it as an alert. However, it does not specify which part has sent the warning. Therefore, you may not be able to locate the exact point of danger within your premise.

Addressable Fire Alarm System

Unlike the conventional fire alarm system, in the addressable system, each part has an original identity mark which connects and sends a signal to a control panel as a single unit. With this system, you can locate the exact address of the part that has sent the signal.

One Stage Or Two Stage Fire Alarm Detector

Pyrotex systems one stage alarm detector can detect imminent fire or carbon monoxide threat and alert everyone within the premise. On the other hand, the two-stage alarm system alerts specific people within the premises.

What To Consider When Selecting A Commercial Fire Alarm System

To ensure you purchase the right system for your premise, you should take the following factors into account:

Ease of Installation and monitoring

When choosing a fire alarm system, simplicity is critical. Choose an alarm system that is easy to install and monitor, saving you time and costs. However, for complex systems, you will be required to invest heavily on equipment and trained technicians to install and monitor them.

The Size Of Your Premise

The size of your premise primarily impacts your choice of a fire alarm system. A large layout requires a more complex fire alert system, preferably an addressable fire system which can be spread out within the premise. It saves time as it enables you to identify the exact location of the probable fire. On the other hand, a smaller building requires the conventional fire alert system as it makes it easy to limit the focus area.

For a premise with several unit areas, you should use a fire alarm system that can connect with the other systems within the premise. Through a centralized location, you can monitor these distinctive fire alarms.

Risk and Threat Level Assessment

For you to choose the right fire alarm system, you need to conduct a full fire risk and threat assessment of your premise. It involves bringing in a security expert to advise on the preferred security systems based on his or her evaluation. With this evaluation, you can pre-empt potential risk areas and develop contingency measures in case of fire break-outs.

The Lamar Tower

The Lamar Tower is a 23-story tower located near Upper Kirby and River Oaks. It was built in 1965 as one of the first luxury high rises in Houston. When they asked Pyrotex Systems to upgrade their life safety system we provided a Gamewell/FCI E3 and all new devices throughout the building. This is one of many retrofit projects we have had the pleasure of doing.

Fire alarm systems can help you evade disaster in case of a fire outbreak. For your business safety needs, Pyrotex Systems offers you high-quality fire alarm systems at an affordable cost.
